Of course, I had some very vocal “help” while I was trying to photograph these. My beautiful senior tortie, Pixel (affectionately known as the Queen of the Universe), was in a remarkably cheerful mood while I was cutting out the cards.

While she is often my grumpy girl, she spent the entire session purring, meowing, and making sure to step on every single card as I laid them out. I finally “gave” her a few of her own to sniff and rub against so I could finish the photography! You can see her adorable (and slightly chaotic) assistance in the video below:
